Laura Cavalcante
Laura focuses her practice on tax advisory and administrative tax litigation, with particular expertise in indirect taxation and international trade. With degrees in Law and International Relations, Laura has extensive experience advising on strategic projects across diverse economic sectors, including agribusiness, electronics, mining, energy, pulp and paper, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and the automotive and auto parts industries. Her customs practice includes advising on import and export transactions, customs tariff classification of goods, and the implementation and optimization of special customs regimes. In the context of Brazil’s consumption tax reform, Laura advises clients on assessing the impacts of the reform on their businesses and on implementing strategic measures to adapt and optimize their operations under the new consumption tax framework.
