Paulo focuses on direct taxation, both in the advisory and litigation spheres, advising Brazilian and multinational companies on strategic corporate taxation issues. He has solid experience in tax, estate and succession planning, with emphasis on corporate and business restructuring to achieve tax efficiency. Expertise in analyzing international structures, taxation of remittances abroad, transfer pricing rules, and the impacts of global taxation on multinational groups. He holds an undergraduate degree in Law and Accounting Sciences and is a member of Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa - IBGC. Paulo combines legal vision, technical-accounting understanding and an understanding of the governance structure of companies, which enhances his performance in highly complex projects. He actively defends taxpayers in administrative and judicial proceedings, especially in discussions about IRPJ, CSLL, and PIS/COFINS.
