He has experience in topics such as digital economy, customs regimes, construction of special regimes to optimize complex transactions, identification of tax opportunities, obtaining tax benefits, and designing solutions applicable throughout production, supply, and service provision chains. He frequently acts in critical situations, when there is uncertainty about the applicable legal treatment, operational obstacles, or material disputes with the Tax Authorities. He develops legal opinions and reports to support business decisions, define strategies, and support technical positions in sensitive contexts. In litigation, he represents companies in material disputes before CARF, TIT, CMT, and other administrative courts throughout the country. He has experience in all phases of the proceedings, from defining the line of defense to presenting oral arguments and technical dialogue with commissioners and judges. In recent years, he has been focusing on the practical interpretation of the Consumer Tax Reform. He guides companies in assessing the impacts on their business lines, defining strategies for adapting to the new model and critically analyzing legislative proposals, focusing on the compatibility between regulatory texts and the operational reality of economic activities.
